One location. A million scenes. Nestled high above the coastline is Saddlerock Ranch & Vineyards, the expansive 1,000 acre property that can offer a variety of backdrops.

Approval Process

Please contact the Saddlerock Ranch and Malibu Family Wines media relations department at least ten (10) working days prior to the anticipated shoot date. Earlier notification is appreciated and complex shoots will require more time and weekend availability.

Site Visits

All production crews must schedule a site visit to the Saddlerock Ranch and Malibu Family Wines to learn the estate and vineyard lay out.

Animal Needs

You may be interested in shooting at the Saddlerock Ranch and Malibu Family Wines because of our collection of exotic animals. We have American Buffalo, Scottish Highlanders, Camels, Zebras, Llamas, Sheep, Peacocks and of course Horses.

Parking

Saddlerock Ranch and Malibu Family Wines has expansive outdoor space that can be used to park large trailers and buses as well as being used to build extensive sets. You will not need to rent additional parking. We also are very close to major hotel chains in Agoura, Westlake Village, Calabasas and Thousand Oaks.

Noise

We have no noise restrictions on the estate. We will work with our staff to provide you with the quietest shoot environment possible.

Damages and Insurance

The film crew is responsible for any damages incurred during their time on the property. All crews are required to have general liability and worker's compensation insurance. You must use our preferred security team and valet vendors, both of which will give you quotes on their services.
